Frontier Model

A frontier model is an AI model at or near the current leading edge of general-purpose capability.

Frontier models tend to demonstrate advanced performance in areas such as reasoning, coding, multimodal understanding, scientific problem-solving or autonomous task completion.

Being a frontier model does not mean that a system is AGI.
