PostAGI

PostAGI is the era in which generally capable machine intelligence exists and society begins reorganizing around that fact.

It does not mean that superintelligence has arrived, that humans are obsolete or that technological change has become instantaneous. Technologies can advance much faster than institutions, businesses, governments and culture adapt to them.

PostAGI describes that long period of adjustment: when intelligence becomes abundant but the systems built around scarcity of human intelligence have not yet caught up.

In short: AGI describes a capability threshold. PostAGI describes the era that follows it.
